Take cleaned prawns in a bowl and marinate with ingredients under the section "For marination". Mix well and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add the chopped onions and green chillies. Sauté till translucent.
Now add the ginger-garlic paste and curry leaves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix well. Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the marinated prawns, required salt and mix well.
Cook on medium heat for 3 minutes.
Now add 1/2 cup of water and cook further covered for 5-7 minutes on medium heat.
Finally add garam masala powder, mix well. and turn off heat.
Garnish with coriander.serve hot with hot white rice, chapatis/rotis or any flat bread.
