Banana Whole Wheat Sweet Dosa is a nutrition packed banana flavoured snack. It is a delicious treat especially for children and all banana lovers.

  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons Sugar
  • 1 cup mashed Ripe banana
  • 1 to 2 cups Milk to blend the batter
  • Required Oil for cooking dosas


  • Grab all the ingredients.
  • Mix baking powder and salt to the whole wheat flour and mix well.
  • Pulse/blend or mash the bananas till you get a smooth puree and set aside.
  • Take half the quantity of milk in a large bowl. To this add sugar and mix well.
  • Now add mashed banana and mix.
  • Add wheat flour to this and stir well to avoid any lumps.
  • Add rest of the milk slowly to the batter to get a dropping consistency of batter. Let it sit for 15 mins.
  • Heat a griddle or a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  • Pour a ladleful of batter and swirl in a circular motion and quickly spread it as dosa. Sprinkle oil on the sides and cook on both sides.
  • Remove once it it golden brown.
  • You can also make pancakes with the same batter.
  • Finish off the batter to make dosas/pancakes and turn off the heat.
